CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING
Your time is very important to Michaela and hopes that you value her time as well. Please understand that cancellations or reschedules require a 48 hour notice prior to your appointment time so that Michaela has the opportunity to schedule another client. As a courtesy, a reminder text message is sent to you 72 hours in advance. If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 48 hours due to a non emergency, the client will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount to the on file card. No Call No Shows and/or Forgetting will be charged 100% of the service amount.
Michaela understands that illness, emergencies, & inclement weather arises in which you must cancel with a less than 48 hours notice. In these circumstances, your appointment will be rescheduled without a late fee.
Please remember that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time in order to prevent a missed service resulting in a cancellation fee. Not recieving a text message reminder from Michaela is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original text confirmation was recieved.
LATE ARRIVALS
Sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, please note that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for full facials and lash lifts, and more than five minutes late for brow services and express facials, Michaela must either modify the service to end on time for the next client or reschedule you for another date. If the service is modified to a lesser priced service, you will still be charged for the cost of the initial service as it is considered a late cancellation of Michaela's time. Rescheduling will result in a late cancellation fee of 50% of the service amount which will be charged to the card on file. In order to get the most of your service, please arrive by your appointment time.
PAYMENT POLICY
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. This policy also applies to appointments reserved with a gift certificate. Full payment is due at time of service in which you may use an alternate form of payment if you so choose. Michaela accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. Personal checks are not accepted. Venmo, CashApp, & PayPal payments are not accepted due to sales tax purposes.
PRICES AND SERVICES
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. Michaela will do her best to keep clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourages all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.
REFUNDS
Services and gift certificates are non-refundable. Unopened skin care products may be returned for a full refund.
CHILDREN & ACCOMPANYING GUESTS
Guests and children under 5 years of age may accompany you to your facial or brow appointment but must be courteous of their volume and must stay in the room with you for the entire time of the service. Children that are 5 years and older may sit in the waiting room as long as they are not disruptive to other clients and employees. This includes use of tablets and phones. Children under 5 years of age may NOT accompany you if you are recieving a lash lift or lash tint as your eyes must stay closed for the entire service.
ILLNESS
Please reschedule your appointment as soon as you know you are feeling ill. You must also reschedule if you have pink eye.
MISC.
Cosmetic Procedures
Generally, cosmetic procedures such as botox & filler can be scheduled at least one week before your facial, two weeks for laser & microneedling, and four weeks for deep chemical peels. However, please check with your provider on their recommendation.
Surgery/Pregnancy/Disabilities
Most facials are either 45 or 90 minutes thus it is whether you are able to lay down for that amount of time. Cushions and bolsters are used to help relieve pressure points and the "pulling" expecting mom's feel in their pelvis. For those that cannot lay flat due to injury, pregnancy, or illness, Michaela can adjust the head of the bed so that you are upright. The bed also lowers to the floor for easy access. However, please note that this location is not fully wheelchair accessible as there is a small set of steps at the door. You may call Michaela to discuss any questions or concerns on accessibility.
